My story
I’ve been passionate about drums for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I started out playing music with my brother, and we spent countless hours recording music together. As I grew older I joined other bands and the journey took me to numerous gigs across Nottingham and the East Midlands. This time helped me hone my craft and developed a deep love for performing.
Years later, I decided I wanted to share the gift of music with others and embarked on a path as a drum teacher in Nottingham. Since then, I have been teaching drums for over 20 years and am proud to have a 100% pass rate for graded exams.
My teaching career spans local schools and academies, as well as offering private tuition from my drum room at home in Nottingham. It’s incredibly rewarding to see my students grow and succeed, and I’m committed to helping each one of them achieve their musical goals.
Beyond teaching, my drumming journey has included some incredible highlights. I’ve had the opportunity to tour across the east coast of America with a band, record studio albums, and play gigs across the UK and Europe. Each experience has enriched my understanding and appreciation of music, and I bring these insights into my teaching to inspire and guide my students.
